"Good location near to public transport, restaurants and of course the Ile de la Cite and the gorgeous Notre Dame! Secure building with a (small) lift, and a wonderful balcony to watch the craziness in the streets below. A bit noisy with sirens day and night, but that is to be expected in such a central location. Limited kitchen facilities, just enough for a cuppa to have with your croissant from the bakery downstairs! Bonus of a washing machine!"

"The lift would only really take one person plus a suitcase, and often when we called it from the ground floor it didn't come, or it did come but wouldn't close when you pushed the button. Only a few flights to climb but after a day of walking around Paris it was a bit of a nuisance. Also had to wait for a while to get the keys on the first day and it was a hassle waiting on the (busy) street with our suitcases."

"Lighting wasn’t great in the bedrooms. Agree with other reviews in that the tenant upstairs made a lot of noise at random times during the night. No tea towels etc provided … this seems to be common in Europe though for some reason."

"Location was amazing - so central and close to walk to all our favourite places, metro on doorstep for quick trips around the city. Loved the tasteful art decor, a thoughtful blend of old and modern. Bed was so comfortable - slept really well. Security from street and double entry made us feel safe and relax."

"Floorboards were beautifully historic but very creaky so woke up our daughter sleeping on sofa bed every night. Couldn’t access second balcony as door knob was broken when we arrived so we couldn’t relax on the balcony together or enjoy that table advertised in web photo. It would be nice to have some kitchen bench space to prepare food as we were using the stove top to cook but needed a space to cut bread, vegetables etc."

"We made the breakfast ourselves. Location is the property's best feature and is excellent. Large space for two people. with a large sitting/kitchen room, bedroom, and bathroom but see comment on furniture below. Good shower. Comfortable bed."

"No one on arrival except a boy to hand over keys. Only one set of keys which meant we always had to go out together. A party of three next door had the same issue. No information about area such as supermarket shopping or restaurants. Only a pre-used sponge to use for dish washing. Too much furniture reduced the value of the large rooms. Bedroom cupboard was hard to use as it was full of old blankets and additional pillows. Bedside tables might look good but with the lamp on top there was little room left. Hard to make use of balcony with all the tables and chairs. Only one set of bath towels for a 10 day stay is not acceptable. Yes there was a washing machine which we did eventually work out how it worked (no instructions found) but doubt we could get towels dry again between showers. We had to ask for tea towels. Romantic lighting but some of us like to read and need better lighting. Only three pods left for coffee machine or maybe they were left by previous tenant. Had to use stairs as the lift rarely worked."

"Excellent location, was so handy to everything. The latin quarter and St Germain are beautiful. The apartment was lovely and clean, the bed was super comfy, and the couch was great for relaxing on. The apartment complex is really secure too. It's close to the hop on/off bus route, and the metro and a bus stop were right outside. Food options are excellent, just about everything you can imagine is within 100m, including several supermarkets. The staff were great, and the communication excellent. We would highly recommend this place!"

"The property was nice, but was on a noisy street. The property was a little dirty as the floors had lots of dust and what looked to be animal hair. The one shower had mold. The property was lacking hand towels and hand towel racks. I was disappointed that I was charged an extra fee to retrieve the keys after 7:00PM and that I had to leverage the key payment to receive the "welcome package" which was to include laundry soap and that although I provided the 30 minute required "notice before arrival" I still had to wait another 10-15 minutes for someone to arrive with the keys. It was also difficult to see in the hallway at night since the lights did not come on."

"Location was fantastic, bed comfortable but it was hot (late October) and there was only a duvet, no sheet. Towels were large and comfortable. Kitchen decently stocked. Very secure with double door entry. Towel heater was a nice addition. Happy to have an iron and ironing board. Great breakfast spot downstairs -Bo & Mie"

"Wish there had been a drying rack for clothes. Bathroom shower head needs cleaning as some of the spray valves are clogged. Would have liked directions for the washer, stove, heat/cooling system, and towel heater. A book with tourists basics would have been helpful - how to use the metro, metro map, map of the city, restaurant menus or suggestions nearby. Closest grocery store, etc."

"Small niggles - could do with a dishcloth to dry and/or better drying tray. Door handles inside kept falling off. Window handle didn’t work on one set leading to balcony- but nothing that was a major headache."
